MEET CHRIS + SONIA

Chris and Sonia joined forces in 2006 after working together for a few years and have been inseparable ever since. As the principle photographers of Sterling Studios, they are both Masters of Photography in Australia and the USA and have collected hundreds of awards for their portrait, travel and wedding photography. Chris and Sonia have each taken the title of AIPP Queensland Wedding Photographer of the Year in consecutive years. In addition, Chris has also won the Professional Photographer of the Year accolade and Queensland Landscape Photographer of the Year.
Being Brisbane's oldest and only second generation photography studio, they have the collective experience of having photographed over 10,000 weddings and 15,000 portraits. Your photography is something that you will carry with you for life, to ensure this, they uncompromisingly use only the finest tried and tested archival materials. It is their commitment to you to create the best imagery possible out of any situation. Their passion for natural light photography will give your images an indescribable look that can only be achieved with two ingredients - light and experience.

Chris loves coffee, cycling, mountain biking, playing golf, sleeping in on rainy mornings, travel, anything from a bakery, especially bakery treats while travelling, ice hockey, blue skies on a crisp winter's day, snow holidays, ice-cream and taking pictures.
Sonia loves going out for breakfast, the month of May, green tea, yoga especially the aerial kind, sitting in the sunshine, her fluffy blue point ragdoll cat Mia, travelling and exploring the world, the beach, shopping for homewares/furniture/clothes.... hmmm.....anything really, picnics, relaxing chillout tunes, dancing, watching movies on the couch and most of all spending time with her favourite man, Chris!
